The teacher asked the class to present & since I struggle from social anxiety, I started to panic. It was a voice telling me to expect the worse. That if I went up there, everyone will ridicule me. I felt my legs shaking uncontrollably. I couldn’t breathe. Everyone started at me, it made this worse. I couldn’t control myself or stop the shaking. Eventually, I knew I couldn’t let my anxiety win, and I had the courage to get up & present. It wasn’t an easy choice. The presentation went well. And I felt a huge relief. - Sandra V.
