When we read or talk about mental health, the word "struggle" is often used. But what does that actually mean when we struggle with our mental health - or illness? Struggling means first and foremost: the achievement of a goal that has long been in sight. But when we talk about our health

- mentally - the whole thing is a bit more complex. This fight is invisible, which of course doesn't mean it won't happen. Unfortunately, our mental health doesn't care if it suits us what's happening right now; and usually decides at the worst possible moment that it's time to give us a really bad day. Then we must pay special attention to ourselves in order to get through this bad day "well". Selfcare gives us back the power we need. It is important, and it is not selfish at all, when we think of ourselves and our well-being. This is the only way, how we can help ourselves, and others <3 -Rebecca
